Just like a piece of film, he can stop, start and rewind parts of his life in order to relive them until he gets them right. As any young man would, Tim decides to use his newly found ability to find true love in the form of a young woman named Mary (McAdams). Alas, although he saves himself from some hilariously awkward situations, he also finds that trying to make life his definition of perfect can sometimes have the opposite effect. After bending time once too much, Tim learns that relationships have their own imperfections and nobody can avoid the ups and downs that they throw.
